IPL governing boday on Tuesday finalised Tata as IPL title sponsor from IPL 2022. Vivo which was title sponsor of IPL has pulled out from title sponsorhip.
Cash rich league sponsroship was handed over to chinese mobile manfucaturing for INR 440crs a year. Vivo which had one-year hitatus in 2020 had resumed as title sponsor in 2021 and owns rights for two more seasons .
As per contract, Vivo has bagged rights for 5 seasons at 2,199crs and Vivo was keenly looking for a buyer to shell off the rights it own.
