Right-Handed Hanuma Vihari Comes Out to Bat Left-Handed After Fracture, Wins Hearts

Andhra Pradesh skipper Hanuma Vihari earned the respect of millions of cricket lovers when he came out to bat in the Ranji Trophy quarters vs Madhya Pradesh.  

The 29-year-old injured his left-hand wrist on the opening day and had to retire hurt.

But on Day 2, with his side in a spot of bother, he took a brave call to come out to bat and be there for his side. 

Vihari is a natural right-handed batter but this time he batted left-handed. 

He’s got a fractured wrist, but the never give up attitude in him brings him back to fight back. He’s batting left handed due to his wrist.

Needless to say, the man has won many hearts and regardless of the eventual result of the game or how much he makes, it was a gutsy move and one where he put his team before himself.
