Hardik Pandya likely to lead Ahmedabad Franchise

Former Mumbai Indians allrounder Hardik Pandya is set to lead the Ahmedabad franchise in IPL 15. Hardik who made his IPL debut with Mumbai Indians in 2015 went on to become a key player for the 5-time champions.

The all-rounder who was under the knife in 2019 because of a back injury post which Hardik was not bowling and yet to reach his Pre-Surgery form. Hardik who was not retained by MI was approached by the Ahmedabad franchise which was purchased by Singapore CVC capital for INR of 5625 was yet to receive a letter of intent from BCCI till last week.

As per reports, the franchise has received a letter of intent from BCCI, which had allowed the team to finalize the list of the 3 players team would rope in before the mega auction in February.

As per the reports team would be roping in Hardik as captain, Rashid Khan as primary spinner and Nehra to feature in coaching team.
