Others drinking Lassi? Harbhajan on 2011 World Cup Win.

2011 World Cup-winning team member Harbhajan Singh has lashed out. The incident took place during an IPL match Pre-Match show on Star Sports.

During the show, Harbhajan Singh said, “When Australia won the world cup we say Australia won the World Cup”. “When India won the World Cup you say Dhoni has won the World Cup.” added the off-spinner.

“If Dhoni has won the world cup, then other members of the team are drinking lassi?” asked Bhajji.
He further added that Cricket is a team game and World Cup cannot be won by an individual.

During the show, Harbhajan also recollected the performance of Yuvraj Singh, along with other team members.
On April 2, 2011, India won their second ODI World Cup beating Sri Lanka in the final at Wankhede stadium in Mumbai. ‘Sehwag, Yuvraj, Gambhir & I Were Fit Enough To Play 2015 World Cup’ was one of the statements that were a point of discussion back then.

During the 2011 World Cup, Sachin Tendulkar is the highest run-scorer for the Indian team. Yuvraj Singh all-arounder performance bagged him the man of the series award. Zaheer Khan made a significant impact with the ball to be the best contributor for the team during that tournament.

Harbhajan retired from all formats of the game in December 2021. He is currently doing commentary for start-sports. Recently Harbhajan Singh shared his experience of sharing dressing with Andrew Symonds. Bhajji and Symonds were involved in “Monkey-Gate” during the India tour of Australia in 2007-08.

Bhajji played for Mumbai Indians and did lead the side, later played for CSK and KKR.
