On the 73 Republic Day, Batting great Sachin Tendulkar had posted a special video on Social Media to lend his support to UN’s “Right to Play”. Former Cricket has been Vocal about transforming India from a sports-loving nation to a sports-playing nation.

“Right to Play” is an IPA declaration under Article 31, which states that a child has the right to leisure, play, and take part in cultural activities. The act is supported by the Indian government as well.

During Video Sachin has merged people to step out and play sports by following all necessary Covid protocols.

This was not for the first Sachin expressed his interest in transforming India into sports playing nation. In December 2017, Sachin has posted a video message expressing his vision, a speech he was supposed to deliver in the parliament which could not take part because of consequences unfolded in the parliament.
