Lucknow IPL team owned by RPSG have roped in KL Rahul, Ravi Bishnoi, and Marcus Stoinis as their three players before the mega auction to be held in Bangalore on the 12 and 13 of February.

Earlier in the month, BCCI has set January 22 as the deadline for the two new teams to announce their three player draft.

Another new team Ahmedabad owned by Singapore’s CVC has picked Hardik Pandya, Rashid Khan, and Ishan Kishan.

KL Rahul was picked by Lucknow for 15 crores, 3 crores for Bishnoi, and Marcus Stoinis for 11 crores reported ESPNCricinfo. Which will leave the Lucknow team with a wallet balance of 60crores for Mega Auction.

It is learned that KL Rahul and Hardik Pandiya will be captaining their new franchises during IPL 2022.

Rahul who made his IPL in 2013 has the experience of leading the PKBS franchise in IPL. The 29-year-old batter is also the highest run-getter for the franchise.
