IPL 2022 | CSK pacer Deepak Chahar pens emotional message after being ruled out

This is a huge blow for Chennai Super Kings, their pacer Deepak Chahar officially ruled out of IPL 2022 due to back injury. According to sources, Chahar picked up back injury during his rehab at NCA in Bangalore. He was recovering from the quadricep tear he picked during the T20 series between India and West Indies in February.

” We dissapointed because we don’t have one of our main bowlers but injuries are part and parcel of the game. We wish Deepak Chahar a very speedy recovery ” said Chennai Super Kings CEO K S Viswanathan.

Four times IPL champion CSK bought back their key pacer whopping price 14 crore in IPL mega auction. In 2018 they bought only 80 lakhs. No replacement was announced by CSK till now.

Deepak’s emotional message to the fans – “Sorry guys unfortunately I will be missing out this season of the IPL due to an injury. Really wanted to play but will come back better and stronger like I have always done. Thanks for always supporting me with your love and wishes, need you blessings.
