South Africa inches away from Winning the third and final test match and seal the series at Lunch. Started off with an over night score of 101/2 Proteas batters were watchful during the first half an hour of play.

Over night batter Petersen kept the score board ticking after reaching 50*. Petersen who eventually got out for 82 not before he was given a let off on 59 by Pujara in slips. Visitors pacers have been bowling testing lines and were able to beat the South African batters however Indian bowlers failed to make a break through earlier in the day.

Shardul managed to disturb the stumps to send back set batter Petersen who has scored 82 runs more importantly he along with Van der Dussen have added 54 runs to the third wicket.

Bavuman and Dussen ensured that South Africa have not lost any more wickets and have scored 16 watchful runs. South Africa need 41 runs to seal the series with 7 wickets in hand.
