590 players to undergo hammer: IPL mega auction

Among 590 players, 228 are capped players, 355 are uncapped players, and 7 players are from associate nations.

Board of cricket for India has released a list of players to undergo IPL mega auction on February 12-13. over 1200 players have enrolled themselves for the auction out of which 590 players have been shortlisted.

This year’s mega auction will see two new teams, Ahmedabad, and Lucknow. 48 players have set their base price at 2crores, which is the highest reserve price.

Likes of David Warner, Faf Duplessis, Ravi Ashwin, Trent Boult, Shikar Dhawan, Jofra Archer, Kagiso Rabada, Mohammad Shami, Jonny Bairstow, Jason Holder, Dwayne Bravo have set their base price to 2 crores.

Shreyas Iyer, Ishant Sharma, Suresh Raina, Ishan Kishan, Washington Sundar, Deepak Chahar, Yuzvendar Chahal, Shardul Thakur, Umesh Yadav, will be undergoing the hammer and 10 IPL franchises will compete to get the finest talent in their squad.

20 players have set their reserve price to 1.5 crores while 34 players are listed with a base price of 1 crore. Sreesanth who was missing from action is set to undergo the hammer this year along with test specialist Pujara who was released by CSK.
