Both legends respect each other very much. Sachin Tendulkar always said he had two batting heroes while growing up. One is West Indies explosive batsman Sir Vivian Richards and another is Sunil Gavaskar. On the other hand, Gavaskar always feels Sachin’s batting was the closest to perfection. He has never seen a batsman like Tendulkar.

Two little masters, both coming from Mumbai and playing for India, they conquered world cricket. Many records are made by them. Both of them won the world cup for India. Gavaskar won 1983 whereas Tendulkar in 2011.
