Virat Kohli may attend during Mumbai Indians vs Delhi Capitals match

Five times IPL champion Mumbai Indians is one of the most followed franchise. MI will face their last match in this edition of IPL against Delhi Capitals on Saturday. During this match they will get more support from stands. RCB batters Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis already chanted ‘Mumbai Mumbai ‘.

The reason behind is, if Mumbai beats Delhi then Bangaluru will qualify for playoffs. RCB earned 16 points from 14 matches whereas DC got 14 from 13 games. If DC wins against MI then they will qualify for playoffs as they have better run rate than RCB.

“Trying to put our feet up and chill out for 2 days and support Mumbai. We have 2 more supporters for Mumbai, not just 2 but I think 25 more supporters,” Kohli said while speaking to Faf du Plessis in an interview for the IPL after the match on Thursday.
“You might see us in the stadium as well,” he added as Du Plessis began the “Mumbai, Mumbai” chants during the chat.

“I have worked really hard. I batted 90 minutes in the nets yesterday. I came in very free and relaxed. It is in that spur of the moment why is it happening to me. It goes back to 2018 in England when I was dropped on 21 and the juggernaut could have started again like it did on the 2014 tour. I won’t be standing here being ungrateful for all that I have achieved.” Virat Kohli said during Post Match Presentation.

“With the very first shot of Shami, I felt I could hit lengths balls over the fielder’s head. I knew that tonight was the night when I could kick on. It has been wonderful that I have got so much support in this edition. I am forever grateful to all the love that I have never seen before.” Virat added
