Alright, we are just few hours away from the start of day 2 at Cape Town and the weather gods have been kind enough to give us a sunny day and afternoon weather prediction.

So, what’s in store for the Fans and what to expect from Day 2?

Well… Jasprit Bumrah hit the right rhythms yesterday bowling his 4 overs for no runs and bagging the wicket of in-form Dean Elgar, the Indian skipper will expect the other Indian Pace attack bowlers to strike their rhythm as soon as possible as well.

Mohd. Shammi will play a key role in the morning session along with Jasprit Bumrah and Umesh Yadav & it will be a challenge for the Skipper to manage the strategic bowling changes well in the morning session. The Indian bowlers will have to be patient hitting good line and lengths and there is enough juice in the wicket for all bowlers in the first session of play.

South Africa meanwhile will try to take the batting momentum of the 2nd innings from the 2nd test and try to stay positive all day to play good test cricket by being cautious in the first hour of the play and once the wicket settles down a bit on the bright sun to then go for some valuable partnerships and get a sizeable first innings lead.

Key Players to Look For –

India

Jasprit Bumrah, Mohd. Shammi, Shardul Thakur & Ravi Ashwin

South Africa

Temba Bavuma, Rassie van der Dussen & Keegan Petersen.
