India Vs South Africa – ODI Series 2022

The 3 match ODI series however kick starts tomorrow to be led by stand-in skipper KL Rahul for India and India will hope to put in a great show after their below-average performance in the test series.

It has been an eventful past few days for Indian cricket fans following Test match cricket, not only did they witness some exciting cricket played in the 3rd test match of the India Vs SA Freedom Series, with lots of drama and agony of not winning their first-ever series win in SA, but they were also witnessing to the untimely news of Virat Kohli stepping down as the Captain of the Indian cricket team.

The decision came as a surprise to most as Virat Kohli has done stupendously well captaining the Indian Test team & definitely could have captained them till the end of the WTC 2023 Test Championship cycle. BCCI however in their statement confirmed that this was a personal decision from Virat Kohli and they thanked him for all his efforts in their official statement.

The first 2 matches will be played at Boland Park, Paarl, the last one to be played at Cape Town.
