Watch : Jadeja loses cool after Dube fails to take Miller’s catch

Four times IPL champion Chennai Super Kings started their IPL journey very badly. They lost four consecutive matches. CSK played six matches but won only one. Yesterday they were tried their best to win the match but some lazy fielding effort resulted in their loss.

Earlier in the match, some brilliant performances of Ruturaj Gaikwad (73) and Ambai Raydu (46) helped CSK to reach a good total 169. But Gujarat Titans lost few quick wickets early to chase this total. But David Miller’s unforgettable innings 94 off 51 balls and Rashid Khan’s incredible 40 off 21 balls helped Gujarat Titans to win the match by 3 wickets. It was a Miller show at MCA stadium.

During 17th over a slower and shorter delivery from Dwane Bravo was mistimed by David Miller. But unfortunately Shivam Dube couldn’t attempt to catch it, CSK failed to grab this chance. Furious Ravindra Jadeja almost threw his cap. Bravo also wasn’t happy with this effort from Shivam Dube.

At the end of the match CSK captain said “We started brilliantly. First six overs were good as a bowling unit, but credit goes to (David) Miller, played some good cricket shots,” 

 Jadeja also said “When we were batting, wicket was gripping and ball was holding so we thought 169 was a par score. But we didn’t execute our plans in the last five (overs).”
