IPL 2022 | Ambati Raydu Predicts Ravindra Jadeja Will Lead India One Day

Four times IPL champion Chennai Super Kings only won two matches out of seven. Mahendra Singh Dhoni left the captaincy before start of IPL 2022. This year CSK has not performed as a champion under their New Captain Ravindra Jadeja.

Ambati Raydu said Ravindra Jadeja will lead India one day

CSK star batsman Ambati Raydu predicted, under Dhoni’s guidence Ravindra Jadeja will become better as a captain. He has capability to not only lead CSK but also India. Ambati Raydu was the the part of Mumbai Indians from 2010 to 2018. After that he has been part of CSK since 2018. He won five titles as a member of MI and CSK.

“Filling in MS Dhoni’s shoes, it’s never going to happen. But Jaddu definitely has it in him and under the guidance of Mahi bhai and till the time he’s around on the ground with him it will be very easy for him. Jadeja will become better. He has it in him to not only lead CSK but also India one day” Ambati Raydu said in conversation with CSK’s YouTube channel.

One of the most successful batter in the IPL Ambati Raydu has scored 4084 runs from 182 matches. He pointed out that CSK is going through a transition phase. A lot of youngsters will play for this side in the coming years.

“There is a shift and it has to come. A lot of youngsters will continue to feature in CSK as the years go by. Having a young captain like Jadeja, who has done it and seen it all, will be great for them to be under him and have his confidence. They have the backing of the captain, and I think he is going in the right direction, as is the team. CSK will be very, very successful under him,” he added.

CSK will be playing their next match against Punjab Super Kings on 25th April at Wankhede Stadium.
